STARKE BEAUTY

The Starke County Tourism Commission launches a major advertising campaign by unveiling its first poster at the premier Jonquil Gallery of Knox. The series of eight images entitled "Starke Beauty" portrays the natural beauty of Starke County and the essence of small town life. The first image brings you the city's gate at morning light. Starke County Development Foundation, the painting's sponsor, hosted a preview at the Jonquil Gallery on August 21, 2002. It was a lovely evening as the internationally recognized artist and illustrator, Mitchell Markovitz signed posters at the event. Jonquil is currently displaying the original painting in the gallery. Posters may be purchased at the Jonquil Gallery Online or the Showroom Location.
